Every once in a great while a product is released for the Polaris Slingshot that absolutely blows our minds. This dual rear exit touring exhaust system from Thermal Research & Development is one of them! This is the first exhaust system for the Polaris Slingshot that checks all the boxes. It’s ceramic coated from top to bottom, which insulates the exhaust heat, vastly reducing cabin foot well and trans tunnel temperatures, making it the most comfortable rear exit exhaust system we’ve tested to date. The entire system is built from 304 mandrel bent stainless steel and tucks in the trans tunnel so that you don’t lose ground clearance. The exhaust system features custom billet aluminum exhaust hangars for the rear end and a trans tunnel mount with polyurethane bushings for the center support along with a center slip joint to allow for vast temperature variations. Most importantly, the tips run low to the ground and shoot out of both the left and right corners of the vehicle, making this the first dual exit exhaust system that is compatible with all of our rear fenders and luggage systems. It’s also the first rear exit exhaust system that had zero emissions smell in the cabin.
